Job Description

Are you a healthcare professional looking for a new and modern way to work in healthcare?

Say goodbye to the 12-hour shifts and weekends spent working and join one of the UK’s leading healthcare groups and become an assessor, ensuring those who need support to live a full and independent life can continue to do so.

What will I be doing?

You will be taking three assessments a day, via telephone when working from home, and face-to-face when working in the office. You will then compare this to a pre-filled questionnaire and clinical literature to create a report to send to the DWP

Will I get training?

Yes! You will receive 6 weeks of fully paid virtual training, completed from the comfort of your own home covering report writing, mock assessments, and shadowing senior team members. After this, you will have continual support with a buddy system to ensure you are fully prepared for any situation you may encounter!

What’s in it for me?

Benefits:

As well as an amazing starting salary, a 10% monthly performance bonus, and opportunities for further pay increases with Continual Professional Development, you are also entitled to the following benefits

  • Registration maintenance paid for
  • Generous holiday entitlement + bank holidays off
  • Internal progression opportunities.
  • Company-matched pension scheme.
  • Life assurance.
  • Retail vouchers
  • Private healthcare.
  • Much, much more!

What are my working hours?

As a disability assessor, you won’t need to work night shifts or weekends. And while you’ll be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week (full-time), you’ll be able to agree on your actual working hours with your line manager. We’ll consider your work-life balance, as well as the needs of the business, to try and create a working pattern that benefits both of us.
