Job Description
The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. This individual will set up and program machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Additionally, this person will inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to the machine as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Program machines using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to the machine as needed to ensure the quality of the parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skill & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using CAM software to program machines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
