Your new role:

As HR and Learning & Development Officer, you will work closely with the company Managing Director and Factory Manager. In this standalone position, you will have sole responsibility for all aspects of HR and Learning & Development within the organization. You will also have some Health & Safety responsibilities. Within Human Resources, you will provide support to Managers, Supervisors, and staff. Manage the recruitment & planning process. Management and administration of HR policies, company handbook, and other related policies and procedures, including the on-boarding of staff. You will assist in the administration of compensation & benefits e.g. pension and employee recognition /reward programs. Assist with Annual Performance Process. You will work with the Payroll Team to provide relevant information. As HR Officer / Manager, you will assist with disciplinary and grievance investigations as required. You will also deal with all general employee queries via email, phone, and face-to-face requests for letters and form filling.

Within Learning & Development, you will work with key stakeholders to support a continuous learning culture. Undertake training needs analysis. Support managers in developing their team members through training, performance management, development planning and career planning. You will identify L&D needs through performance reviews, succession planning, job analysis, review of key projects and regular consultation with line managers. You will manage all employee training records.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

As HR and Learning & Development Manager, you will have a degree qualification in a relevant HR, Business or L&D discipline OR have relevant previous experience. You will have excellent IT skills. Strong knowledge of employment legislation. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication. You will be team focused and good at building relationships with stakeholders.
