Health Care Personnel

Job Description

The Health Care Personnel will be responsible for providing patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a healthcare setting. This individual will provide basic care to patients such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as taking vital signs and documenting patient information. Additionally, this person will assist with patient transport and participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized patient care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic care to patients such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Take vital signs and document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with procedures and treatments as directed.
  • Transport patients to and from appointments and procedures.
  • Ensure that patient care areas are clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow healthcare facility policies and procedures.

Skill & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training.
  • Current certification or registration as a nursing assistant or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care techniques.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
  • Willingness to learn and follow healthcare facility policies and procedures.
